This quaint little gem is close to everything the mountains have to offer - Rock climbing, mountain biking, skiing, fishing, hiking and the unparalleled beauty of our natural environment.
Our accommodations were inspired by the outdoor enthusiasts we have met and played with over the past 30 years of living in Truckee. Like the friends we have made who are vacationing here, we also visit other outdoor playgrounds and have often found the need for a better bivy. So spend some time in our guest quarters and experience the Truckee the locals know and love.
Whether you are adventurous or are looking for a cozy nook to spend the night, stay in our uniquely appointed cabin and enjoy our slice of life with outdoor excursions at your doorstep, piles of down comforters, star-lit evenings and the Sierra at her finest.
Our one bedroom base camp, located in Prosser Lakeview and two miles from historic downtown Truckee, is deluxe for two people but could accommodate up to four. Everything you need is provided except your food! A fully stocked kitchen, linens, pillows, towels, and blankets are all available.
This perfectly appointed hide-out is available during the fall months for $100 per night, $550 per week or $1500 per month, with a $25 cleaning fee. Contact us for holiday rate information and to schedule your “perfect bivy” in the mountains!
